Spring Training will take place after off-season free agency. Each team will have the option to choose how their players attempt to develop going into the next season. Each player has 20 development points. By default 5 points are placed in each of 4 categories for a player. The categories are: Batters: Contact, Power, Strikezone-Judgment, Defense Pitchers: Pure stuff, Velocity, Control, Stamina While you can take away from some areas to improve in others, there is a risk involved. Decreasing development in one area could cause regression. Many people believe default is the best way. You may take away 5 points from these areas in order to teach a player a new position or roll. This is obviously a huge risk. There is an option to ask your coaching staff to recommend development. Since there is no “Export to FTP” option in spring training, the file should be sent by email. To attach the file go by these steps: my computer\c:\program files\out of the park developments\ootp5\bbsbl.lg\expimpteamXXst.exp with XX standing for your team's #. -Credit to BBSBL Please read this too.longballer.proboards.com/thread/1027/new-spring-training-ruleNEW RULE: Any relievers that get converted without "A" relief duration will not only losing their new SP duration, but their relief duration will be lowered to an "E" rating as well.
